Simone
Hello Human-Kind: I've been watching Ruth and David
hunched over their computers and I want in on this action!
Now, you might be wondering how a tiny faerie might be able to blog - I have magic powers of course! No seriously, there is no magic involved. Ruth is typing while I recite what I want to say.
So what do I want to say? Just hello and if you didn't previously believe in magic-kind, well I hope to change your mind. Hey that rhymed! I am genius. You'll figure that out soon enough.
I am Simone - Cottonwood Cottage's resident faerie of nearly one hundred years....don't I look good for my age?
I'll be back quick as a faerie's sneeze,
Simone.
Dra-co-nite
You all may be wondering- what in the world is a Dragon Stone? A few days ago, I honestly didn't believe one even existed.
Dra-co-nite (or commonly referred to as Dragon Stone) is a magic stone fabled to be located in the brain of a dragon. Just a little factoid I thought you might be interested in knowing.
Now the question is, does it exist or not? I would love to tell you - but I have been notified by Dr.Blackford that we are not allowed to give away too much of our story.....you've got to find out for yourself.
Until next time,
Ruth

Baby Ruthie
Ruth is going to flip when she sees I put this old portrait up I did years ago. She is six here - and she is still the uptight, stuffy picture of scientific excellence!
Isn't she just adorable? Don't you just want to pull those cute l'il pencils from that bun?
Love ya sis - couldn't resisit.
Catch ya later,
David

Self-Portrait
What's up everyone. I didn't believe Ruth when she told me that Dr.Blackford started this blog for us. I mean it's pretty cool. A few days ago, I would have wondered why anyone would want to know what I was doing. Now, I have to admit - you'd probably be missing out on some wicked action if we didn't include you in on this expedition. It's pretty Top Secret, I'll have to check with Dr. Fitzgerald as to how much we are allowed to disclose...you know, for our own
safety and all. I agree with Ruth (which is rare)that you should check out the first book or you won't have a clue as to what is going on. Anyway, I Gotta go.
Ruth said there's a peeved garden goblin hacking up the rose bushes. Mom won't believe me when I tell her the goblin did it.
Check ya later,
David
The Duncan Family Adventure
Hello Everyone! I was just contacted by Dr.Blackford from the Society of Magbeologists informing me that she has taken it upon herself to set me and David up with our own blog, so we can document our travels around the world...although resistant to the idea ( a laptop is hard to keep in my backpack) I realized this is an excellent way to keep you all informed of our adventures. Please pick up a copy of our first published Journal -forgive some of my messy scribbles and fingerprints. I become so involved in documentation I don't bother trying to be neat. I am currently convincing my angry house faerie to quit buzzing into my computer screen, so I must say good-bye. Wish us luck!
